Fairly standard hotel in a great location. The mineral water bathes were a tonic for my tired travel body. Be sure to book yourself in for a massage in the day spa. They do couples massages too. A short stroll or drive up the road is 'The Pavillion Restaurant and Bar'. This place has great views and if you get there early enough you will see horses being exercised in the bay.

The iron heavy spring water was a great (hot) temperature and left feeling refreshed. The upgrade for an outdoor complex is eagerly awaited. The bath "seats" were an odd design though...it's impossible to walk through the pool without crashing into a surface and stubbing your toe (it's not a standard raised-step for sitting around the edge as you would expect).

Second time I have stayed here with my partner. Both times the rooms have been fantastic with great ocean views. The day spa and massage tops off a great night away from the kids to unwind and rejuvenate. Staff are extremely friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Best accommodation I've stayed at full stop. Treat your significant other to a night out and a refreshing massage package. You won't regret it! Can't wait to come back again.

Deep Blue is a regular for me when I am in town, the hot springs are fantastic and very relaxing. Having the cold plunge pool is a great way to get all the benefits from the mineral baths. I can also recommend the infrared sauna, with multiple settings to choose from - rejuvenating from the inside out.

We stayed two nights. The room was clean and comfortable and well appointed. The service was great. The bed comfortable. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss. The selection rather ordinary and the quality nothing special. By 9am they had run out of croissants and bacon. The poached eggs were lying in water, the baked beans were hard and the scrambled eggs a congealed lump. I found a fly in a poached egg. The waitress took my plate and promised the chef would make a fresh one. Forty five minutes later, nothing. Also the tea was self serve with tea bags and water from an urn. They did not have an omelette or fried egg service. We had a massage with a private spa. It was pretty good and masseuses were professional. Overall I'd give a 5 stars to the hotel, 2 star for the breakfast and 4 stars for the hot springs experience. Overall a solid 4 stars.
